The Large Glass
PALACE CHOP HOUSE

Recorded in the ultra cool painting studio of Klaus Killisch in Pankow, Berlin.

Dirty. Grim, Extra Noise is the debut album from Berlin based Palace Chop House - uniquely named after the location in Newark, New Jersey where the infamous gangster Dutch Schultz was shot to death by rival gangsters. Recorded n Berlin, this music was created “live” during a marathon improvisation session. The trio combines the über-innovative guitar work of Klaus Killisch, the fiery rhythm-concret of Uri Killisch, and the spectacular spectacle of Richard Sylvarnes’ synthetics. This essential, groundbreaking album is a full frontal aural assault; shifting from bone-crushing beats to ethereal passages, to spine-tingling Neo-noir. At times freewheeling, at times majestic, this trio spits in the face of convention and unleashes a musical maelstrom.
